No, not really…
If they all joined together for the “Giveaway of all time”, well that would be something LEGENDARY ! 😛
Backstory
Like some of you may have read. I decided to take part in ONE HUNDRED facebook share-like-comment giveaways.
I am usually this kind of a guy who only takes part of giveaways where you have to do one thing – comment. I am not into sharing loads of posts to kill my facebook wall. And I have won quite some times. Mostly football tickets. But this is one good win 🙂 Now, it was time to change it and see if I can win something by sharing loads. But considering there is hard to find (maybe I am just not experienced enough) 100 giveaways where you have to share. I will still participate in those where for example you must just press like or make a comment.

Seems like facebook is full of random giveaways ? Think again. Really. It was super-hard to find 100. Yes, there were loads of where you could win women’s clothes or some very much things located in Tallinn I decided not to participate. But really, it was hard.
Statistics
My time
I spent about five days, two hours per day to find those games, join and add them to this post. So like 10 hours of my time. The one who doesn’t write everything down, not even the ones he/she wins, can divide that number with at least two.
Wallprint.ee – Spa visit
I won ! A Spa visit for two ! But there is one huge negative thing about it 😀 The Spa is so damn far from me…
Bad habit
This one is for those taking care of the fan pages. I find it a bad habit to delete the giveaway post after the giveaway is done. Let it be there. For real. Leaves a bad taste in my opinion, if you delete it. Maybe people want to come back and check who won ?
Participants
In total in those 100 giveaways we had 159 996 participants (of course many of them took part in more than just one giveaway, like me for example), making it ~1600 participants per giveaway. So what are the odds of someone winning the “game” ? Megaslim 😀 But I still managed to get 1 win myself. Call them lucky or I don’t know, but there are people who won more than once. Anni Aksberg won THREE times. In addition Enn Anderson, Jaanus Sepp and Sirle Soots all won twice.
The Blacklist
Now the negative side… In social media, it’s so easy to just delete a post. There were many giveaways like that in the past years where the page managers just deleted the post before giving away the prize. I ended up taking part of that kind of a game (or two) in 2017 😮
DroneCam Media
1000€ giveaway at DroneCam Media. Giveaway won by “Saarevälja Anton”, account with no other posts, only that one share. A real shitstorm started then. And once DroneCam Media decided to delete their post, since then Saarevälja Anton facebook profile is empty. They also posted a message…
Everything related with that giveaway is deleted by now… No more comments, no nothing…
So we will most likely never find out if they gave this money out, or not. But everyone who bothered to follow up think no-one got the money.
Eesti Reklaam
They had to give away 50€ to four people. I suppose they never even planned to give that money to anyone as by the time of the draw, ALL posts from the page were deleted. This one was clearly a fake giveaway.
Moeklikk
Wow-wow-wow. This is one of the facebook pages I dislike A LOT. A simple reason – they post couple of hundred times per day. PER DAY ! And this is nuts. My feed is full of their posts.
Now… About their giveaway. Post is gone and I messaged them asking about the giveaway and who won etc. They never answered me. Clear sign of something fishy going on.

Who saw that one coming ? 😮
Not me at least. A hip hop musician decided to not give out the promised hoodie and CD. No answer to my comment either.
Jahi- ja matkariided
Went on their facebook page on 13.11 (giveaway had to end on 14th) and there are no posts on the page, everything deleted. Clearly a giveaway made to gain fans/likes with no intention to give anything away.
Rosemary Trading OÜ
Post is still there, like with the Arop case, no answers to question “who won?” or posts about who won. So nothing given out yet…
Rush salon
I waited for over a month, but enough is enough. If they are not bothered to interact with their followers, then I am not ready to wait that long to get the results. They surely didn’t have a real plan to give out the award.
Conclusion
Even though most giveaways in facebook are real nowadays you can never know if the giveaway will be won by an inside person or by real “fan”. But the prizes are getting better and bigger time by time. But one should really think before acting. Don’t fall for scams.
But at the same time, I could as well say – share the soul out of yourself. One who is lucky enough, can win all needed for living. Quit a daytime job and become a full-time “sharer” 😀
I will keep disliking people who share enormous amounts of posts in facebook, but once in a while I may share a game or two where the prize looks good enough for me. The odds are quite slim in bigger games, but like told, once in a while, I may test my luck 🙂

You ruin your facebook friends wall for once, you ruin your own newsfeed for forever.
I suppose I have to start pressing the “Unlike” or whatever buttons there are. Because my newsfeed is FULL on stuff I don’t care about.

Tagged a friend under KETI LÕPP tag-a-friend-giveaway post and won 2×25€ Estonian Burger Factory gift cards. That’s my luck. Winning on my 101st giveaway I took part. Conclusion: NEVER GIVE UP ! 😀
